Meadow Honey "La Aurora" is a light, cheerful honey with flavors of cherries, grapes, daffodil, cranberry, and pear. Collected from the wildflower meadows in the foothills of Nayarit, Mexico. Pair with fruit, yoghurt, Earl Grey tea, pork, sweet herbs, citrus, and gin.
State Honey Curators sources honeys from apiculturists who are dedicated to the well-being of ecosystems found in lush locations in Mexico. The bees thrive in organic-practice orchards or wild areas where many varieties of wildflowers, weeds and blooming trees are part of the available nectar supply, allowing for diversity in the bee’s diet and resulting in layered, unique honey, and strong, healthy colonies.
The year distinguishes the flavor profiles derived from the flowers of that season.
